The Shocking Truth About Flu Deaths and the Flu Shot!

For years, the American people have been lied to about flu shots and flu related deaths! The CDC has been telling the public for nearly a decade that there are more than 200,000 estimated hospitalizations and 36,000 estimated deaths from influenza in the U.S. every year.(1) However, these numbers are not truthful! They do not represent people who actually died from the flu. They are only estimates of other causes of death that are assumed to be flu-related. They serve only to scare millions of Americans into getting the dangerous – sometimes deadly – flu shot.

Flu Shot and Flu Deaths

Flu Shot Scare Tactics

This Year’s flu hype and scare tactics are in full force. This makes it even more important that you understand the truth about the flu shot. Please read: 20 Reasons Why The Flu Shot Is More Dangerous Than The Flu. You may have seen this story from Monday, October 14th, 2013 regarding the first ‘flu-related‘ death of this (2013-2014) flu season. The first line of the story reads: “An adult with influenza has died in Dallas County…”(2) No specific details were released.

Interestingly, the CDC does not require states to report flu cases or flu related deaths of adults (anyone over 18 years of age). So why is this adult death so intently reported?

You may have noticed that this was not a death from the flu. It was a flu related death. We have no idea what the person actually died from. The hospital did not release that information. We are only told that an adult – who happened to have the flu – died.

Playing the associated video, you hear the newscaster report: “Flu season is off to a deadly start in North Texas”… report of flu related death… “The county wouldn’t say anything else about its first victim.Victim? Interesting choice of words!

Then, we are quickly taken to a reporter on the scene at the hospital to update us on the hospital’s statement. The first words are “Get your flu shot! Tell your friends and family to get a flu shot. If you don’t like needles, get the flu mist…

Regarding the severity of this flu season, the doctor interviewed in the video had this to say. “It’s too early to say but the way I always try and emphasize that with my patients, as well as, at Baylor is that – people die from the flu every year; nobody dies from the flu shot.” That statement is an absolute LIE! And, if it is not a lie and the doctor actually believes it, then it is an indication that he is totally ignorant to vaccine related medical research and CDC statements about the flu shot side effects and deaths. Either way, he is definitely not someone with whom I would trust my health or the health of my family!

The CDC Estimate Model for Flu Related Deaths

Looking at “Estimating Seasonal Influenza-Associated Deaths in the United States: CDC Study Confirms Variability of Flu” on the CDC website, we do see some truthfulness. The CDC admits that they do not know exactly how many people die from seasonal flu each year.(3) They also have no idea how many people die from the flu shot every year! However, they go on to explain how they go about estimating – not actual deaths from the flu but – what they classify as flu related deaths. These are direct quotations in the CDC’s own words. None of these statements are reworded or taken out of context. These statements speak for themselves. However, the emphasis is mine. Regarding why they use a statistic model to estimate flu related deaths rather than actual deaths from the flu, the CDC states:

  • “CDC does not know exactly how many people die from seasonal flu each year.”

  • “States are not required to report individual seasonal flu cases or deaths of people older than 18 years of age to CDC.”

  • “Seasonal influenza is infrequently listed on death certificates of people who die from flu-related complications.”

  • “Many seasonal flu-related deaths occur one or two weeks after a person’s initial infection, either because the person may develop a secondary bacterial co-infection (such as bacterial pneumonia) or because seasonal influenza can aggravate an existing chronic illness…”

  • “Most people who die from seasonal flu-related complications are not tested for flu [What!?]...”

  • “CDC estimates of annual influenza-associated deaths in the United States are made using well-established scientific methods that have been reviewed by scientists outside of CDC.”

There is a lot of estimating going on in this model. The model includes virtually zero actual deaths from the flu. It includes a lot of other causes of death assumed to be flu related.

If the CDC doesn’t use actual flu deaths to calculate deaths from the flu, then what causes of death do they use? Again, directly quoted from the same source(3), we learn this:

  • “CDC uses two categories of underlying cause of death information listed on death certificates: pneumonia and influenza (P&I) causes and respiratory and circulatory (R&C) causes.”

  • “CDC uses statistical models with records from these two categories to make estimates of influenza-associated mortality.”

  • “CDC uses underlying R&C deaths (which include P&I deaths) as the primary outcome in its mortality”

  • Based on an August 27, 2010 Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report(4)… “CDC estimates that from the 1976-1977 season to the 2006-2007 flu season, flu-associated deaths ranged from a low of about 3,000 to a high of about 49,000 people.”

  • “Death certificate data and weekly influenza virus surveillance information was used to estimate how many flu-related deaths occurred among people whose underlying cause of death was listed as respiratory or circulatory disease on their death certificate.”

  • “The study confirmed previous findings that about 90% of influenza associated deaths occur among adults 65 years and older.”

  • “Does CDC think that influenza causes most P&I deaths? No, only a small proportion of deaths in either of these two categories are estimated to be influenza-related. CDC estimated that only 8.5% of all pneumonia and influenza deaths and only 2.1% of all respiratory and circulatory deaths were influenza-related.

So, the causes of death are (definitely) primarily from respiratory and circulatory deaths and not necessarily the flu. Exactly why it is estimated that only 8.5% of P&I deaths and 2.1% of R&C deaths are used to calculate flu related deaths is not stated and is unclear.

Studying this CDC data leaves me to wonder:

Do people actually ever die of the flu or just from secondary complications believed to be associated with influenza?

The Truth About Flu Related Deaths

It is clear that the flu does not kill 36,000 people every year as widely reported by CDC, HHS(5) and mainstream media. What is known, is that the flu shot does disable and kill people. This has been included in some flu shot manufacturers own research and reported to the FDA.(6) While death from the flu shot is rare, the truth is, no one actually knows which one kills more people – the flu or the flu shot!

Here is a summary of what we know about flu related deaths as reported by the CDC. This information was reported by Barbara Loe Fisher of the National Vaccine Information Center. This video gives her full report in context. Below the video, the key points from the transcript are included.

Influenza Deaths Hype vs Evidence by Barbara Loe Fisher

Recorded Influenza Deaths Dropping in 21st Century(1)

“Here is what I found: Since 1940, the highest number of influenza deaths recorded in a single year was 21,047 deaths in 1941. In fact, the mortality rate from influenza was NOT rising in the late 20th century – as the CDC employees have alleged – it was dropping.

“There were only between 600 and 750 influenza deaths recorded annually between 1995 and 1997.(7) The most influenza deaths recorded in a single year since 1979 was about 2,900 deaths and that was in 2009, the H1N1 swine flu pandemic year!”

CDC Expanding the Flu Vaccine Market Between 2000-2010(1)

“But that didn’t stop CDC policymakers, along with drug company and medical trade association lobbyists ever present at the policy making table, from using inflated influenza hospitalization and mortality estimates to justify expanding the influenza vaccine market:

  • In 2000, CDC policymakers voted to expand flu shot recommendations to all healthy Americans over age 50.(8) Out of a population of 300 million, there were 1,765 recorded influenza deaths that year.

  • In 2002, CDC voted to add all healthy babies from six to 23 months.(9) There were 727 recorded influenza deaths that year.

  • In 2006, CDC voted to recommend flu shots for all healthy children up to five years old as well as all healthy pregnant women in any trimester.(10) There were 849 recorded influenza deaths that year.

  • In 2007, CDC voted to add all healthy children up to eight years old.(11) There were 411 recorded influenza deaths that year.

  • In 2008, CDC voted to recommend annual flu shots for all healthy children up to age 18 years.(12) There were 1,722 recorded influenza deaths that year.

  • In 2009, the Secretaries of Health and Homeland Security declared a national emergency because they said pandemic H1N1 swine flu was sweeping the country and tens of thousands of people could die. Liability free drug companies were told to rush an experimental swine flu vaccine to the market.(13)

  • In 2010, a year when there were 494 recorded influenza deaths, the CDC officials finally reached the ultimate goal of their long game: they told doctors to give annual flu shots to every American, healthy or not, from the year of birth to the year of death.(14)

“And they got away with it.”

It is vitally important to understand the real truth behind these puffed up numbers reported in the media. They are unapologetically used as scare tactics to all but force you into getting an annual flu shot. However, they are simply not accurate. And the flu shot is simply not safe.

What if You Get the Flu?

I have never been diagnosed with the flu. I did once, however, have extremely unpleasant flu-like symptoms after receiving a flu shot many years ago as a child. As an adult, I have never taken the flu shot. I support the innate healing power that God put in my body when he created me. This keeps me well and flu-proof!

You may be one of the statistically few people who actually does get the flu. If so, what should you do? Unless you are over 65, your risk of dying from the flu is virtually zero. If you are over 65, the flu shot will likely be dangerous or deadly.(15) However, it will be too late for the flu shot – even if they did work as claimed. What can you do to support your body’s natural, inborn healing ability?

What does it take to prevent the flu altogether? That will be the topic of discussion in another flu related article this week. Stay tuned for that!

Question: Have you or someone you know been adversely affected by the flu shot? Have you suffered flu-like symptoms as a result of flu shot? Please share your experience – Your story may just save the life of someone else!
